Pre-K Students Learn to Pause
Lisa engages Pre-K students, reading about how they can choose to listen to their Helpful Self to have a better day.
Kids enjoy reading about the Pause in their Class. These kid-friendly books are a great way to introduce how to be more present, wise, and helpful in everyday life.
"An empowering action plan for children and the adults who educate and care for them. The message is a reminder that we are never really alone, we
always have a choice that brings us together, and that a helpful mindset can yield immediate and conflict-free results. I view this book as a highly valuable addition across home and school settings. And that children will enjoy putting it into practice."
“Good afternoon Mary and Lisa. You have been quite busy. How exciting! Equally exciting is your initiative to train mentors. Count me in. I still recommend PAUSE to others, practice it, and I take cards to the Health and/or Resource fairs that I attend. I promote it as a form of stress reduction which of course leads to relaxation. At the end of one fair in North City, I had the vendors learn my cheer. One participant referred me to another nonprofit to talk about wellness. I will be sharing the cards at that event also. It was great to hear from you.”
